Sophelia hats are hand-woven from natural raffia in Madagascar by artisans whose hands know no shortcuts. Each piece is made by hand, which means no two are identical, and every hat carries the mark of the person who wove it.

We work with a selected number of boutiques, hotels, resorts, concept stores and retailers who are looking for a product with a genuine artisanal identity.

Now taking Spring/Summer 2027 orders

Our production calendar runs ahead of the season. Placing your order this autumn or winter secures delivery well before spring, when your customers start shopping for the season.

Wholesale terms

Who we supply: Professional buyers only, including boutiques, hotels, resorts, concept stores, retailers and other approved partners.
Minimum order: 35 hats per order. Buyers may combine different models and styles to create a mixed selection.
Pricing: Wholesale price list available on request. Prices are confirmed at the time of quotation and may vary with model, customisation, quantity and availability.
Logistics: The buyer is responsible for the transit agent or freight forwarder, and for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT or other destination-country charges. Freight and destination charges are not included in wholesale prices.
Customisation: Models and finishes can be adapted for larger orders. Please tell us what you have in mind.

Each Sophelia piece is handcrafted. Small variations in colour, weave, embroidery, dimensions or finish may therefore occur. These variations are part of the character of the craftsmanship and do not constitute defects.
